Payrolling

More and more companies are finding payrolling (PAYMASTER in Jean Simpson terminology) a cost-effective method of obtaining workers without the burden of being the employer. PAYMASTER differs from using temps in that you do the recruiting/screening and you establish the employee’s pay rate. We are the employer, however, and handle all the taxes, insurance and paperwork.

Jean Simpson Personnel Services, Inc. responsibilities:
Payroll Records
Social Security
Medicare
State & Federal Taxes
Liability and Bonding Insurance
Unemployment Claims
Comply with Workers’ Compensation Requirements
Vacation & Holiday Pay

You recruit the individuals and do all the screening.
You establish the pay rate for the employee.

We do ask that you leave the PAYMASTER employee(s) on our payroll for a minimum of three (3) weeks to cover the cost involved in processing this individual. PAYMASTER employees are required to fill out an application, appropriate tax forms and all company policy forms (we will be glad to furnish you with the paperwork packets ahead of time to have on hand) as well as pass a drug screen. Jean Simpson Personnel Services, Inc. will not cover anyone hurt on the job without the necessary paperwork on file.

As usual, our work week runs Monday through Sunday and employees are paid weekly. Payroll checks are in our office available for pick-up each Wednesday. Checks not picked-up by 4:00p.m. are always mailed (unless prior arrangements have been made). Employers are billed weekly and invoices are due upon receipt.
